The problem a lot of people seem to be unable to fully grasp is that an unfaithful adaptation isn’t necessarily a bad one. The Witcher Netflix series while not faithful to the source material is a great series. The same is true for the video game series.

John Carpenter’s The Thing is completely unfaithful to the source

What makes it extra funny is that to the extent that the show’s given us dates, William appears to be a Millennial. He’d know gamer lingo because he would have played it.

“Fucking Camper” - I can just identify so much with M.I.B.’s disdain.

I have literally called them the “Ness” and the “Sness” my entire life. It boggles my mind that you’d call them anything else.

I’m sorry, but what part of “attempt no landing there” do you people not understand?

My bad, that’s clearly Meg Ryan.

Also, remember all those religious Boomers who watched the shit out of The Passion of the

Super-nerds aside, there are no native Klingon speakers, Klingon people, or Klingon home country. I’m sure there’s plenty of Japanese fans, people of Japanese descent, and just plain fans of Japanese culture that will enjoy an episode spoken in Japanese. The two situations aren’t exactly comparable. Besides, watching

Because... reading is... stupid? 🤔

The movie should be a satire of 1080’s action movies.

I just wish they had gone with my original idea for season 3 of Stranger Things that I pitched to my cat.

Leia rescuing herself with the Force was one of the most awesome things I’ve ever seen. I know people have their issues with it, but I loved it.

It’s very simple: they did it because they hate you. No, not the audience, you specifically. “I’m going to ruin Star Wars for det-devil-ails,” Rian Johnson says in the commentary.
