My favorite headline of this sort deals with how a mountain lion wandered into town causing everyone to freak out and call the authorities. It was “Mountain Lion Calls Swamp Police”, which made me think of the following scenario:

The content is bad enough. But did nobody think to tell her that screaming into an empty, echo-y room would make let sound like a lunatic? You can’t deliver a speech the same way that you would at a normal RNC, with 20,000 sycophants right in front of you.

Many of Snyder’s actors and fellow filmmakers seem to believe he was mistreated. And there is plenty of evidence outside of Snyder that Geoff Johns and Joss Whedon did not behave well. One doesn’t have to entirely exonerate Snyder of fault to believe that the situation is complicated.
