a long bow with a trained shooter should be accurate up to 200 yards. ramsey was shown in previous seasons to be a proficient archer. really, i find that to be one of the more plausible parts of the battle

i assumed the damage wasn't that bad. the waif is a trained assassin, but she wanted arya to suffer (for some reason- her bizarre animosity toward arya was never really explained as far as i recall) so her stabs were intended not to kill so much as maim.
