i'm guessing it was more 'can't justify blowing 500+ bucks on a last minute 3 day round trip plane ticket during a holiday' and less 'i literally do not have enough money to pay for a plane ticket.'

'sweet home alabama' is the example that breaks your rules
i think its mostly just bad. the acting quality and pacing seemed closer to opening night at an iowa city community theatre production of 'carousel'
its less that it was sexist and more that it was horribly written. gosh, i wonder if he is a free spirited bad boy who understands that natures just, like, got to be free man but who learns to appreciate a well executed plan in the 3rd act? and is it possible that she is an uptight scientist who has had to put on an…
i don't know- at least that guy could just fall off the face of the earth if he wanted to. he obviously doesn't look anything like he did when he was a kid, and he has a very common name. If he went and got an office job and never brought it up again, nobody would ever know who he was.
i don't think she was ever technically a real knight, because as a woman i don't believe she can ever officially be a 'real' knight. she's a highborn woman, so she was able to learn how to fight and equip herself in the right gear, but i can't imagine any actual night would have taken her as a page/squire and i can't…

honestly? that's fair. i (well, my household) is squarely in the target demographic, and we stopped watching after ep 7 because we just didn't care. i would be part of the problem if they don't do a second run.
maybe they could try making the first one fun before spinning it off?
roy rogers has been slowly clawing back from near destruction when hardee's bought them with the intention of converting them and gaining an east coast footprint. i think they're even opening new stores.
actually, the hojo listed as being open in lake george new york closed a few years ago and re-opened under a new name. i haven't checked if it still has the same food or anything, but it looks the same from the outside. the howard johnson hotel in LG is still open but is a different business
