Indeed. It was a movie whose laughs and situations seemed to have been geared towards ignorant morons, so it would make sense it takes all the bigoted and stereotypical viewpoints it does.

The real travesty is that they keep making her do a stupid Brooklyn accent and not just let her speak Australian English, which has lots of stupid slang and may have made her dialogue somewhat interesting throughout the film.

The final season was quite atrocious but I get, from a business prospective, why they did carry the show on for as long as they did. I still think it's unfair to not recommend the show, as it was vastly entertaining for the first six seasons. I liked the Colin Hanks season so whateverrrrr
