The white male snowflake tears of unfathomable sadness may be even greater than Captain Marvel’s, which is always worthwhile.

he’s from vermont, a state where you can walk around naked as long as you don’t disrobe outside. he’s probably just happy they have pants on

“I would never be brave enough to do what Jussie did. He put his personal freedom at stake and shined a light into some dark corners that need cleaning. In a way, I’m proud of him. Because it doesn’t necessarily matter that this event didn’t happen. It matters that it could happen. That’s the real issue here. So good…
BUT WHAT ABOUT THIS TOTALLY UNRELATED THING
Well, it didn’t take long for his apologists to slither out into the light.
Is this a thing now? Telling people where they are allowed to go to church? Because if people want to start dragging others for going to anti-LGBTQ churches, then maybe start with the Catholics.
Breath of the Wild was a game I felt obligated to like and it never happened.
White dudes love this movie.
I loved Looking as well. I never understood all the complaints about it being boring. Why can’t a story about gay friends just be about them looking for love, succeeding/failing at their jobs, etc. like so many stories are for heterosexual people?
I also highly recommend Andrew Haigh’s Weekend and Looking, which I’m a bit surprised aren’t on here. Sure, Weekend’s ending is more bittersweet than outright happy, but at least it doesn’t involve gay bashing like QAF and Glee. And Looking might be “boring” if you’re not into super slice-of-life stuff, but again, for…
Or how about we don’t attack anybody? For fuck’s sake, I hated the movie quite a lot, didn’t really like Rian Johnson’s attitude in some bits I’ve seen, but I don’t think we need to start stalking him online and yelling at him. He made a bad movie (in my opinion) and I dislike the direction a series I liked is moving…
Did you...*play* Wolfenstein? Its sociopolitical commentary was considerably more than just “fuck yeah kill Nazis.”
Here for this. Steve’s arc from idealistic hero trying to do the best good for the world to paranoid loner who has watched everything get taken from him by people who thought they knew better is the core of the MCU for me.
Iron Man 3 is worse than both of those. The Iron Legion should have ended that movie during the first act. Everything after that plot hole is just ridiculous filler, and Killian was the worst Iron Man villain out of all of them.
He’s also the driving force behind two of the worst (Iron Man 2 and Age of Ultron)
Hot take: Let’s just replace RDJ and I’ll be happy.
Perhaps as Christopher Robin is drawn out from his middle-aged weariness, Pooh will become more yellow and not-so-ghastly?
That picture under the headline is so hipster that it just opened its own artisanal mayonnaise store.
I feel like they’re really tempting fate with this...
