As an animator, I agree with you. But I would still hold the animator responsible too. I don’t know a single animator that would flat out copy another company’s work. We copy each others work, sure, but it’s on the same shows and we’re re-using to save time (because yeah, deadlines are stupid). Flat out copying the

Catsuka has dug their own digging and are attributing most of it to the director. They’ve dug up past work of his that was also used plagiarized material.

Obviously they’re going to pass the blame onto whatever 3rd party marketing firm they hired. Said firm is going to throw their animation team under the bus. In reality, it was actually the fault of managers above the actual animators who demanded project deadlines that were unrealistic. Desperate to keep their jobs

jeez, this is damning, curious to how the hell sony can reply to this.

Two more weeks till BlizzCon...what a complete shitshow that’s going to be...

I feel awful for all the developers, who had nothing to do with any of this and who have been working their asses off on new projects and updates to existing titles that are going to have all their work ridiculed, ignored, and sidelined

If Epic bans a streamer for speaking out on Hong Kong, then I’ll be upset; so far they haven’t.  It’s not about how deep you are in their pockets, it’s about whether you let fear of losing Chinese money push you around.

What are you mad about? Do you want people to be as upset at Epic as Blizzard? Or are you just raising awareness of Fortnite’s Tencent connection? Like, be clear dude.

The game always installs everything, regardless of licenses. So even if you don’t have the DLCs, they’re still downloaded wholesale.

I disagree with this slightly, you can play destiny with a single character and be pretty much right were you need to be with the rest of the community by playing maybe 6-10’hours a week. The second job part comes in when you are doing all that 3 times over for a marginally higher level on your main and the

Here’s the actual most important notice for new players, that was implied by the article but never said outright: if you plan on playing Destiny 2 ‘seriously’ (ie beyond, say, running through the campaigns and calling it a day which is totally a legit approach) you need to be aware that you will be getting yourself

That’s the whole game as installed now. It was an 26GB update on consoles, and a whole re-download for PC since it moved to Steam.

Same boat, though I only had Vanilla no DLC’s. I hit softcap today and am up to 903 now. I just ran around doing public quests, lost sectors, and chests, while also unlocking the menagerie along the way. Just finished running that blind and it was a good time, can see why people enjoyed it last year.

Trying to figure

Jesus  a 96.4GB update!?

You still get access to a lot of stuff even without putting down money for the two big expansions. I’d say download and play around; do some strikes or Crucible and see if you like it. If you do, go ahead and buy them. I think you can even skip Forsaken if you wanted to save money because nothing in it is really

I really miss the “Best Anime of This Season” articles that Kotaku used to do. They used to lead me to a lot of great gems. These articles are borderline useless, to me at least; it’s just a huge diarrheal dump of everything coming out with no way of knowing if any of it is worth watching.

Actually, Bungie split from Microsoft in 2007. Part of the deal was that they’d make two more Halo games (ODST and Reach) during the first few years of their independence.

Then 3 months after release we’re gonna get the 10,000 word Jason Schreier article on how this is the moment when the game was, more or less, started over from scratch.

In OP’s defense, are you intentionally ignoring how the advent of the internet has made it overtly easy to deliver said death threats, where prior there had to be more tangible effort in delivering said death threats? Also... likely a tongue in cheek comment.

The internet was a mistake

Let's be honest... Has anyone ever played both? :P
