Way back in the day, one of my friends from high school was lucky enough to get a brand new EM1 Civic Si. He was talking to me about it before picking it up and he imitated shifting while saying out loud, “One, two, three” and moving his hands in the same pattern as seen on that tattoo. Yes, he’d never driven stick

Yes, you can find them easily, but people (here) generally don’t want to pay the asking price for them.

Kinda-sorta counts?

Here we go again with another article about an old car that most people didn’t love back when it was available new but is suddenly the best thing ever now that it’s old.

I seem to remember that bro in the black tee and jeans almost ate it during that run, too.

And this is the problem Subaru/Toyota would face if they sold one with more power. A good number of the most vocal people asking for a turboed one would be like, “Great! Finally! Now I’ll just wait until I can find a used one on Craigslist for under $XYZ.” That’s not helping at all.

Remember the WRX concept they showed at NYIAS in 2013? The resulting car looked nothing like it. Yeah, the concept shown here isn’t happening and doesn’t even look as good as the concept from 4 years ago.

Yes, you could do that but you’d have to cut a notch out somewhere on the base of the shifter so you could get into reverse.

The EP3 had an independent rear, though. The Fit and following generations of Civic hatches had the beam suspension up until the current generation.

No, it did not.

Those old Preludes were based on the Accord platform, not the Civic.

Infotainment screens that are just slapped onto the dash and/or look like they can fold down/into the dash but are actually fixed. That’s just cheap and lazy design and looks completely out of place, IMO.

Ah, if only the Subaru part were still true in the new car market.

The title of your article says “STILL putting insane markups” as if it’s a shock. The car was only released a few months ago with limited production numbers amidst severely pent up demand from fanboys. I admit that the markups suck but is it really a surprise that it’s “still” happening? Maybe when we’re closer to the

...but I think it’s a refreshing new design direction that simply lets the iPhone get the most out of its displa real estate.

This. I just tell them the price is as listed and they should just come and take a look at it before we discuss pricing. Even worse is when you finally relent and say you will take $XYZ for it, they will just work off of that lower number to lowball you even further.

Also doesn’t help that so many who are interested in them are only looking to buy one when it’s 5-8 years old from an old lady who doesn’t know what she has and is willing to sell it for thousands under fair market value.

I don’t disagree with what the article is saying. But I always found it funny that when I owned an STI, it was always the WRX owners that I met who felt they needed to explain to me why they chose a WRX over the STI even though I never asked them about it. I never judged them about it, either. You do you and I’ll do

NSX still had the Integra beat when it comes to VTEC in the US. NSX started in 1991 and the 2nd gen Integra GS-R had a B17 (yes, 1.7L) VTEC motor in ‘92.

Dear Honda,
