Have you ever taken one on a curvy road? As someone who drives a Cayman when I pushed a Hellcat on curvy roads I was rather impressed. It is not as bad as Jalopnik hyperbole will have you believe.

You said Cadillac and Lincoln “have a better track record at selling high end cars”.

NUH UH! A BUNCH OF COMMENTERS IN HERE ARE INTERIOR EXPERTS AND ARE SAYING FCA INTERIOR ARE CRAP (with only personal experience being a rental dart)!

I know right? This seems like a no-brainer, home run to me on Jeep’s part.

Many GC Jeep owners cross shopped against BMW, MB, and Land Rover. I did and felt the Jeep had better value for the money. The premium for the badges on the other brands was about $10-$20k when optioned out apples to apples with the Jeep GC (v8 and all the tech bells and whistles and luxury appointments) and I

I own a Cayman GTS with 6-speed manual. At track days, I’m absolutely certain that I’m losing time on laps due to manual shifting. A PDK would certainly be faster. But man and woman cannot live by bread and speed alone. The driver involvement is fun, and I wanted a car that would be fun.

Looks like the Lexus grille wearing a bicycle helmet.

I am being forced to admit that I don’t know what a “Yammie” is...

Took a weekend off to visit family and watch Le Mans at their place since they have a bigger tv. Dad grabs me in the morning and says let’s go look at Porsches. Thought to myself only thing better than watching 911s race around is to be in one.

You are setting the bar very low with the Camaro.

I have a Cayenne Turbo and am now looking to fill every automotive facet of my life with something made by Porsche. They simply make the best vehicles.

It’s brand prestige. Most of the Mecan buyers came from Mercedes, BMW, & Audi. And many had less expensive cars with those brands, but stretched their budget to get a Porch, thus the high sales volume of the 2.0.

I own a 2015 Macan S, and at the time I was cross-shopping with an M3. That sounds like a strange comparison but it was very common at the time.

You take that back

If a Macan doesn’t perform, then it’s a Macan’t.

There isn’t much that I wouldn’t like to take to the track, especially if it’s not mine.

+1 for “I’m no automotive aerodynamicist (wait, yes I am)“

Aero changes to alter the frontal area, you say? I’m going to guess that’s pretty unlikely. The floor and the roof are damn hard to move in a modern car, and I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess this guy didn’t have the anti-drift “narrow body fender mods”. I’m betting it’s a drag car, in which case a burst

Nice to see these models getting some love. While I can’t say its my favorite 911, I would be proud to drive one. It is a proper drivers car with soul. I find it a little hypocritical that people go on and on about air cooled 911's being so much better, so much purer, and if they have high miles are even more revered

All of y’all are buying straight-up grenades and I can’t wait for the chaos/money loss.
