Well…at least this clip is less cheap-looking than Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark? Even if the song wasn't all that great, the animatronics work looks pretty good. Should be fun to read the reviews, if nothing else.

Agreed on Raimi being a good fit. Knows his way around action/horror, and he'd get the admittedly difficult tone exactly right.

Her work with Ben Folds on the Once Upon Another Time EP is easily her best stuff, particularly "Bright Lights and Cityscapes" and "Lie to Me". I did like The Blessed Unrest, though.

I love crass and lowbrow, but I found it crass and lowbrow in pretty much the most dull, uncreative way I could imagine. It's the same reason I don't laugh at Adam Sandler movies.
