Everyone can win and lose together! STEP RIGHT UP!

It’s time to play “Who has the MOST punchable face!”
Here are our finalists
Ajit Pai, Lamar Smith, Jason Chaffetz, and Trey Gowdy.

Where the winner is also the loser.

The punchiest.

That is one supremely punchable face.

I know this isn’t exactly a fair comparison, so go ahead with the”false flag” accusations. However, I don’t quite follow your logic. What they did was actually illegal. Since you think it wasn’t illegal let’s go into a completely different hypothetical-

Good cameras are small, expensive, hard to trace and easily sold, thus more likely to be stolen than most other things you could place in checked baggage. They’re also fragile, and cost more than the airline will pay if they’re damaged in the hold. I never check my cameras because I don’t want to pay for them again,

Because this isn’t about terrorism, but about fucking over Muslims.

What you said doesn’t follow what I said. Stupidity in general bothers me. It’s just the part of the general stupidity that would affect me if I were on the way to Egypt soon that moved me to comment. #allcamerasmatter.

I believe that terrorist was in Africa. I’m sure most African airport security makes even American TSA agents look like Special Forces operatives.

A couple of “real world” problems with this idea immediately come to mind.

True. Here in the Metro Detroit area, which has the highest proportion of middle-eastern population in the nation, we have experienced exactly zero terrorist attacks.

at least those flights have good in flight entertainment! This is stupid though. I’ve flown through Doha, it’s more secure than any US airport I’ve been to. You go through metal detectors/xrays just to get into the building. Then again at the terminal and again to get onto the plane.
There have been legit terrorist

Next ban will be math, because people writing weird symbols is scary.

I was about to ask what the plan was for all those non-removable lithium-ion batteries that aren’t allowed to be checked.

It makes a little less sense when you add in the fact explosives can be detonated using the phone.

It bears repeating that the majority of the people who live in fear of Muslims* do not encounter a large number of them in their everyday life. And when they do see one*, they are responding violently (and cowardly) with what feels like greater frequency.. Meanwhile, most of the large cities don’t seem to GAF.

Doesn’t

What does this even accomplish? Are the devices supposed to be bombs or something? I mean they can still have phones and check the other things right? Basically this just seems like a ruse to make people pay for in flight movies or some equally ridiculous bull shit.
