The word from CDAN is that Lindsay was so out of it during filming that they had to add some professional reality stars to help out. She’s a mess.

Dabo Swinney was ecstatic, and wrong. After his Clemson Tigers routed Alabama to win the national title, he shouted…
Remember when people saw Mercy and Tracer and thought the game wasn’t diverse enough even though Pharah was standing right next to them?
Quarterbacks also can fake a field goal, then stand up and throw the ball for a first down—or a touchdown.
Two black guys did this, you idiot. Not that that changes anything, but please read.
Amazing how easy it is to be wrong when you start floating unsubstantiated theories on shit you don't have a clue about.
A 20 year old black man confessed and has been charged with capital murder. A second man has also been arrested.
Because Kinja gets half their stories there.
Shhhh, you’re just supposed to obsessively read Kotaku and seeth about how it doesn’t conform to your beliefs. Not actually think.
Because the entire article, like Polygons, hinged on being able to talk about how esports, and gaming in general, is not meritocracy when it comes to women. Which ends up absolutely not being the case at all.
I don’t understand this weird obsession of reddit. Why do people care so much about it around here?
I don’t remember that part, but it wouldn’t surprise me given the fact that they did end up following their word and quitting/retiring when it was shown that she was that good.
“Yeah sure our article was poorly fleshed out and... but hey the fact we called out misogyny in e-sports makes half ass journalism ok”
The article was based on an entirely false premise for the purpose of pimping misogyny in e-sports. They ran with it so fast they didn’t bother to investigate if it was even real.
Well remember this is the guy who because he didnt disclose he was fwb with a game dev kicked off the whole gg fiasco and made us all realise yes the internet is full of horrible trolls and there's no integrity in games journalism
But as you mentioned it’s happened before with MagicAmy...And Kotaku made a similar article. “Truthfully, a lot about this situation feels uncomfortable—a woman has been driven out of the Hearthstone community, over seemingly flimsy accusations.”
Then don’t pay attention to Reddit. Most people would probably be a lot happier if they stayed away from Reddit and Twitter. There’s a very small and sometimes annoyingly loud group of people that think the way those people do. For some reason people love to talk about what those people say and think instead of just…
Except they weren’t just piling on this player for the sake of being a woman and making up bullshit reasons to harass them, the impetus behind all of this was just how sketchy the whole thing was.
So what you are saying is that you went off half cocked becuase she fit your agenda. You got the clicks and then got called out. Solid journalisting.
My favorite part of posting here are the personal attacks.
