This article has a pretty glaring factual inaccuracy. GOG isn’t owned by CDPR. GOG is owned by CDP. CDPR is a developer that’s also owned by CDP. GOG and CDPR are subsidiaries.

Yes, I am, I’m just not a reactionary baby. There are many, many real problems in the world, many of which have a real and damning effect on the lives of the LGBTQ community. No one’s tweets (short of perhaps the president’s) are on that list. This is not news. This is emotional grandstanding. 

My own agenda... Yes, I have a document secretly written to ensure that the transexual community - who have done nothing to offend me in any fashion - suffer. It’s certainly not because I believe that literally every group on this planet should be open to being joked about.

I doubt you can objectively assess whether someone under you actually felt mortified. They may have felt exactly as they stated and showed deference because of your position. Or, if you’re equals or the equivalent, you’re in a work environment and so censoring one’s self is definitely safer.

I honestly don’t think they’re trying to be intentionally malicious with any of these tweets. I think they’re just trying to provoke a laugh without realizing other interpretations of what they’re tweeting. Not everything is a personal attack, people.

I’m about as liberal as you can get, but c’mon... If this is what you have time to complain about, your life is probably pretty goddamn cushy and sheltered. There are real problems in the world that actually affect the rights of LGBT folks... GoG’s /CDPR's tweets aren’t one of them. Spend your time raising awareness…

Thrice is a pattern. If this is stupidity, then CDPR is REALLY stupid, and I honestly don’t believe that for a second.

Everyone gets made fun of, all the time. The only difference is Qik1 isn’t falling on the sword about it. I’m struggling to see how them using the #WontBeErased hashtag playfully was maliciously targeting the trans community. And “did you just assume my gender” has become so common it’s a meme unto itself.

Gimme a break. There was no harm here. People need to calm the fuck down.
