I'm white, and that was my take away from the Rashida situation, too. How painful it all is. And how I was a little uncomfortable with the Rashida character, both wincing for her, because as someone who's worked in law firms like that, I know how out of place the way she expresses herself is, but also realizing that

Yeah, when I was a kid I ran into a girl I took Aikido class with in a random mall in California once. We lived on Kaua'i. It was summer and it turned out we both happened to be visiting the mainland.

To add to your point, they are seen playing chess in this episode — Nas can probably give Freddy a run for his money in chess.

They really outdid themselves with the episode title pun this week. A nice Easter egg for fans of seventies rock.

Thanks.

That scene with Chuck at his mom's deathbed gives us a major piece of who he is and why he does what he does. We find out Jimmy was his mom's favorite kid. Combine that with the scene in "Rebecca" in which Chuck's wife enjoys Jimmy's company and sense of humor, and later on, when Chuck tries a joke on her, she

So are you trying to say you don't like Better Call Saul?

BCS is Shakespearean in the way it unpeels the layers of character dynamics between Chuck and Jimmy. I guess that could be boring if you don't like that sort of thing, but it's often my favorite aspect of any television show or movie.

Yeah, I was thinking that too — no sole practitioner is really going to get to be corporate counsel for such a large entity.

They're the Badger and Skinny Pete of BCS.

Lawyers change firms all the time. She's an associate, not a partner. I doubt it would get them anywhere.

Sure. There'll be conflicts to waive though. And Kim will have to be behind a "Chinese wall" with regard to anything Sandpiper related.

Eh, having worked with big-firm lawyers for over 20 years, they're all pretty conservative about ethics and protecting the firm reputation. Some of them may come across a little looser and cooler sometimes, but that's usually in service of an objective — in this case, persuading Kim to change firms. Trial lawyers

"wouldn't someone who is serious about childcare remember to bring a diaper bag to the mall?"

Yeah, that bugged me, too.
