They've reduced the staff at the damn IRS, the people who collect their money. That makes negative amounts of sense.

I was actually only looking for casual when I was using OKC - I was dating two other people when I met my now fiancé. But, I don't know that Tinder was as popular at the time with my age group (30+); it certainly has a larger user base now. I actually quit it when I ran out of possible matches. :(
Yes, but that was years before she was in The Wire. As far as I know she had no legal problems while acting. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
I don't think so. She was arrested on a drug charge after the show ended though.
I know, isn't that weird?! It's exactly why I thought of it.
This is precisely why I don't have a gun. I've been mad enough that had their been one handy (in my purse, for example) I could have easily shot someone. And bluntly, I don't believe anyone who says they've never been this angry at least once.
Of course, but they're not terribly effective at predicting suicidality, especially if you're talking years or decades in the future. If you are shopping for a gun at 25, are they going to know about the economic downtown and job loss at age 50 that will depress you enough to shoot yourself?
(My apologies if you knew this and were referencing it deliberately) That is literally how the Black Panthers got started in LA - following the cops around while open-carrying, observing and taking notes. Most of them didn't get killed, and even Hampton had to be murdered in his sleep.
I get a similar blood-rage whenever I see people comparing prices without using constant dollars.
Mayor Quimby, obviously.
Also #1 in rate of incarceration! WOOOOOOOO!
The cool kids are all Muslim-baiting these days.
I didn't actually say anything about how good a job they did, just that they managed to succeed. I have no idea how you would measure the former.
If you want them put in harm's way, make them fish, drive taxis, or work in an deepwater drilling operation. All substantially more dangerous than being a cop, and more socially responsible. Well, not the drilling one.
I'm way to lazy to find this source, but apparently a large part of the growth in privately owned guns in the last 10ish years is the same people buying *more* guns because they think some kind of gun grab is imminent. The aggregate numbers of households with at least one gun is actually going down. It's quite…
This version of Weimar Germany doesn't have nearly enough jazz.
That very nearly happened to a bystander during the Gabrielle Giffords shooting, who IIRC wrestled Crazy Eye's gun away from him and then was nearly shot by someone else who had just arrived.
There's basically no reason to think this based on data - countries with low levels of personal gun ownership also have very low levels of gun deaths (what a fucking shock!!!) and don't seem to have higher levels of other deaths (the ones that are supposedly being prevented by all of these guns).
I'd kill you if I had my gun!
