Somebody should make them a bureau.

I wonder how necessary personal guns are, though, if you consider the vast differences between basically any military and what's available/feasible for a civilian. Apparently Tunisia had very restrictive gun laws (2nd lowest rate of private ownership) and they still managed to topple the government.

NO! We have enough problems with that already.

How are you going to determine that? Who makes the call that someone is the right level and type of depressed?

One of the largest risks of gun ownership is suicide.

I don't know that it has to do with being dumb or immature - humans are just plain * not that rational * under any circumstances. We're terrible as assessing our own susceptibility to anger, impulsiveness, etc. That's why shit like putting candy by the register or ending prices in 9 works (and works well).

Iron helps us play!

Worst. cereal. ever.

Interesting, because I'm a straight lady and I did way better on OKC. Tinder was a fantastic way to dip my toes in the internet-dating-pool, but I got really bored with it a few months in a switched to OKCupid, and eventually met this guy that I'm marrying.

And as a fulfilled person, you are way less likely to get involved with someone shitty just because they give you the time of day. It has amazing benefits all around!

I think phones are fine during an NFL game - there's like, 10-20 minutes of actual game time in a 3-4 hour broadcast. That's a fuck of a lot of time sitting around and watching nothing happen.

Ah, Beauvais. If you'd like the experience of making an emergency landing during wartime, that is the airport for you. (At least my ticket included a bus to actual Paris)

We saw one ad for it during Lions-Eagles today. FWIW.

Also drunk women at Applebee's.

Ha, nope, I'm an accountant. In real life I rejected a similar career path (social work) because I get super frustrated when people don't obey me. At least here on the internet I can pretend everything works out. :)

Every single "It's Complicated" I know was aggressively radical-for-radicalness'-sake about relationships, sexuality, and gender identity in college, but had become surprisingly heteronormative by their late 20s. Just can't let that college identity go, though.

Eh, the books do a fine job of eliding those things IMO. Both Katniss's ear and Peeta's leg are fixed, apparently perfectly, at the beginning of the 2nd book. (That is, Peeta gets a prosthetic leg that is never mentioned as troubling him, and apparently works well enough that he can go into a warzone with said

This current guy just sucks in so many ways, and their relationship is not healthy. It lets me see the underside of "relationship at any cost", I suppose.

I don't know, I have that friend too and we're pretty close so I can see how mediocre her relationship is. (Apparently he's proposing, too, ugh.) Even when I was single I didn't envy her coupled status because the guy is such a knob.

So, I have a suggestion that has nothing to do with dating, specifically.
