You are so correct my pedantic friend; but I think my point is clear. The Disney/Marvel movies have dominated cinema the past 7-8 years, they are an oeuvre. Who does one credit them? Feige, Whedon, Favreau? Let me know and I'll happily update my comment.

One can see who dominates cinema for a period as Chaplin, Warner/Curtiz, Hitchcock, Coppola, Spielberg, Cameron, Nolan and Marvel take turns dominating particular eras. Perhaps Chaplin stands out because he wrote, directed and starred in his own features but there aren't more of his than say either Hitch or Spielberg.
