A lot of people live paycheck to paycheck. This is a topic for another article but you’d be surprised at how many people buy beyond their means.

Actually incorrect. The central valley and the LA Basin are basically air cauldrons. CA has strict emissions because the pollutionwould just stay in the air. No thanks lung cancer!

Single male, 29 Northern CA. 2017 CRV for $1080 a year.

I work for USAA. There are alot of retired officers who do very well in life after seperate.

I have a magnet on the back that says, “honk if you have to poop”. Every time i hear a honk, I know that person got a little laugh out of it.... or maybe he or she really had to go number 2.

I, like you, racked up credit card debt like the apocalypse was about to happen. 10 years later, I’m 28 years old and brought my credit back up to 730 from a dismal 500 back in college. It takes time. Just pay down your debt and continue to make payments on time. You’ll get there!

I’ve always wondered! Thanks for answering. For years I told my mom it’s the same friggin engine in the 4runner but she wouldn’t believe me. Using that same logic, then people who have Camrys with 2GR-FE are wasting their money putting premium because the ECU is programmed for regular only.

USAA makes a bunch off me with my banking and mutual funds. That’s capitalism, c’est la vie.

I just bought a CRV with the 1.5 turbo. Even thouh the owner’s manual says 87 is adequate, I wonder if I would get better acceleration. I tend to be a “spirited driver”.

I can only speak of how they do it in the bay area. If your’re on a freeway with a toll but you have an extra passenger, you put your fastrak (west coast ezpass) into a static mylar bag so that the sensor doesn’t pick up. Ezpass is probably setup the same way.

I bought 09 Fit brand new. And you’re right, there are better used cars out there for the same price. Some people just prefer buying new. Nothing wrong with that. I think the fit is a good first car for young people just beginning their adult life.

LOL this was on Curb Your Enthusiam a few weeks ago!

That’s just how advancing technology is. How many people today know how to work a horse and buggy?

She is charged with attempted murder and her bond is only 25K. What the wtf? That shit should be atleast 1 million.

I was told that most dealers use All-Data which uses the motor guide (which is used by most insurance companies) for labor. Motor guide does time studies of operations done by techs of all skill levels and comes with an average. These book times are quite generous (bad for the consumer) so it’s a little irritating

But we don’t know if there was full coverage on the prelude to begin with. If not, prelude owner won’t get an insurance payout. That’s the issue, this truck driver destroyed any hope of this car being repairable by the owner. But i guess the silver lining is now the truck driver is on the hook. Man I can’t believe

What sucks even more is that if the guy who did it intentionally ran over the car, his insurance may not cover it and the truck driver will have to pay for it directly plus towing and removal from the beach.

I’m sure the rural jurisdictions start quite a bit lower. I have a buddy who just started at SFPD (San Francisco) they started him out pretty good 40/hr. Just like any job, adjustments are made for cost of living.

Umm you do know that if she allowed this to happen she would’ve opened herself and the hospital to a lawsuit from the patient. She could’ve lost her job. If the cop wanted to arrest somebody he should’ve arrested the supervisor since he was the one who said no. She was just following orders.

People tolerate it because they have no choice. Nissan, Chrysler, and Mitsubishi dealers are more willing to finance to subprime borrowers.
