The problem with bringing cars like this to America is they usually end up pretty pricey. Then the typical American arguments pop up. “I’m not paying $40,000 for a Corolla/Yaris!” “I could get a V8 Challenger for $10,000 less!”

Support your local Veloster.

What is this “Anywhere else” you speak of? As an American, I am not taught about foreign lands outside of the center of the universe that is the US of A.

Same thing for F-150's.  I looked at used ones a little bit and people acted like they were selling original Yenko Camaros or something.  They sell almost a million of them EVERY year.  There’s no way your seven year old F-150 only lost 10% of it’s original MSRP in that time.

I always try to take a giant breath and see if I can read the whole sentence in one breath.

This works. Even painting “zig zag” lines on the shoulder gives drivers a perception of narrower driving space and they slow down accordingly.  I’ve driven on very wide, multiple lane freeways at 85 mph and felt like I was doing 40 mph.  Yet driving down a narrow two lane highway feels like you’re flying at 55 mph.

I had to settle for a SE because I wanted the manual transmission.  A few months after I bought it, Ford offered a manual in the Platinum trim level.  Of course.

He said DUI drivers are “treated poorly.” That tells me he’s gotten a DUI (thus it “ruins your life for 2 to 5 years”) meaning he’s pissed he faced consequences for his behavior and is trying to whataboutism his way out of it.

The best part about reading all the comments is the people outing themselves as the exact type of people this article is talking about.  “I can’t believe that cop gave ME a ticket for breaking the law that I knew I was breaking!  Laws are intended for OTHER people!”

If only we had been warned to not drink and drive constantly from the time we are old enough to even know what that means (I scolded my mother for “drinking and driving” when I was 3 because she was drinking a Pepsi) then maybe that poor soul (I’m assuming you, based on your incredulousness) wouldn’t have had to deal

Gary Larson was always ahead of his time.

It sounds like everyone is depressed and self-medicating with alcohol.

What’s funny is that the completely stock vehicles hold their value so much more than modified.

Thanks, I already can’t unsee the flat slab wheel arches on everything now because of one of these types of Jalopnik articles, now I’m going to see hockey stick bumper covers everywhere too.

Pagani: “On it.”

I work at a place that has a lot of young bro’s making good money for the first time in their lives so our parking lot often resembles a Monster Jam staging area.  Yet one of them has a few year old single cab, short bed Silverado that is lowered and I think it looks really good.  I applaud him for going against the

Are Slushies big business in Alberta, Canada?

I broke my finger playing soccer and my dad told me to “see if I can bend it.”  I barely was able to move it.  To him, that was the “isn’t broken test.”  For three days I had a broken finger that was extremely black and blue.  When I was moaning in pain in my sleep, my mom finally took me to the doctor.

You’re starting to reach a point where the pool of drivers (American) that can even drive a stick shift is dwindling. Those that know how are getting older and may have reached a point in their lives where they have sown that oat and don’t want the hassle anymore.  I’ve gone on multiple test drives of manual
