In their bi-weekly newsletter email, they have a link at the bottom to “share your car story.” I did that and was featured in their newsletter a couple months later. I honestly would not have known since I often neglect to read it. But then I ordered some parts for my car and saw something familiar on my order

I feel like it would be healthier for our nation if it went back to being the Winston Cup.

I’ve been reading all your posts on this thread. Unfortunately you are not as ‘right’, or as smart as you think you are.

No, no, you’re doing it wrong. More like:

Every time I see you post about a Jeep, I think to myself, “Oh Lord, what kind of Trouble has the Tracy boy gotten himself into today?”

Also affectionately known as a Jizz and Jet.

Good to know, although I have not owned a Ford since this unfortunate issue on both my 2002 F150 followed by an 2004 Expedition (4.6 and 5.4 respectively). Oddly enough both trucks lost the heater core at around the same mileage. What a chore to replace.

the girl crashed her Mercedes into a tree a found out how the Mercedes “bends”

There is one car guy who comes to mind. He was really a DIY mechanic by necessity; his family didn’t have a lot of money, so whenever something broke, he was the one who fixed it. Appliances, plumbing, electrical, cars, whatever. He inherited a ‘49 Buick Super Eight from a family friend, and that became his project,

I would just like the collective Jalopnik community to know that I am 22 years old, recently bought an NA Miata, and think this guy is an absolute moron. My generation isn’t complete crap, just mostly crap

LOVE THESE CARS! I love them mostly because they are not the run of the mill Chevelle, Nova, or Camaro. I had a Cutlass Supreme at my shop for sale for a while, nobody seems to care about the Buick and Olds variants. The GS, the Wildcat, the Cutlass, the Lesabre, all awesome.

When i was watching this I was thinking about Blackbear pass around Bridal Veil falls. Definitely not railroad grade.

Well, as someone who lives in Florida and recently sold my half ton for a 1 ton, you forgot something that lots of people in Florida have more than any other state: boats.

And most people use boats recreationally. Hence: The weekend.....

a) not all trucks have diesel power plants

Oh you didn’t know that trucks automatically mean your penis is small on here?

That rig is set up for farm off road, not mountain off road.

size & weight is always the limiting factor. This is why you can take an ATV places that even custom rock crawlers can’t go, and why you can take a dirt bike places even ATVs can’t reach.

My condolences to the Gordon family. I pray that things go smoothly for them. Wish I could do something, honestly.

“Maybe this guy didn’t want to do it, but didn’t want to lose his job either.”

No, you don’t stand up and quit. You collect the evidence showing what you’ve been ordered to do (get a digital copy and a hard copy) and you report it via your company’s whistle-blower hotline. When the company fires you and finds someone less ethical, you lawyer the fuck up and sue for an outrageous amount of money.
