And to anybody wondering what did happen to the “other” Timo.
Not sure if you’re even reading these responses or have access to them tonight. But just wanted to say thank you for doing what you’ve done and standing up to these shitheel corporate fascist fuckheads. You’ve fought the good fight for something that was worth standing up for. You did what you could. This place will…
Thank you for your continued support of Deadspin. The good news is we’re extremely hard to kill.
Trunk version; this was the cheapskate special. It cost a fairly good whack, at least $100 in 1970s dollars, less than the hatchback. You’d find the same phenomenon at the Ford dealer down the street if you were looking at the Pinto. These were also the lightest and stiffest version although the difference only really…
The crew of the black-hulled yacht @ 1:00 probably shit a biscuit.
Is it normal for a ship to be under power while under tow?
As a life-long racer, I can say this has nothing to do with a dream. This is the nightmare we face every single time we roll to the start line.
(The case was dismissed.)
Wow, a perfect combo of Fiat 125, Range Rover and a bit of Niva splashed in. Three of my once favorite cars. With a freaking V8. Life could have been so good.
Oh god this brings back memories. Had a Defender 90 for several years back in the early 2000s and yes, it’s a blast for offroading, or for tooling around country backroads at low speeds on pretty days, but it’s hilarious how bad it is at being a daily driver.

I own an 1989 Defender 110 that I imported & restored from the UK. Its, slow, noisy, bouncy, the heater barely works and It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it.
I know someone who bought a brand new BMW “flying brick” with no previous motorcycle experience (except dirt bikes, I think) from a dealer in Jersey, had to ride it back his apartment in Manhattan and ....
I remain convinced that the person most upset with the 2016 Presidential Election results was...Donald Trump. He just ran to stoke his own ego. Back then he knew he had no business being President. But once he won, he had to do the job. So he convinced himself that he was the bestest everything ever and hasn’t stopped…
I 4x4 quite a bit in Colorado and I have mixed feelings about what overlanders bring to the community.
To celebrate the launch of the premium services, BaT is auctioning off a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing at no reserve. The current bid at the time of this writing is a cool $1 million.
Want your mind totally blown? My father in law has a 9-car garage—10 if you count the Lotus Elan frame that used to live in the rafters.
Shit, I didn’t think of that.
I will never give up my LA suburbia home with its four-car garage with cracker fridge and an extra-long driveway. I can’t fathom having to wrench on the curb like some common animal. Can you even enjoy a beer out there?
