Damn man.  Ambitious.  I should put you in touch with John at Weber state.  He’s getting his classes much more into EV and he might be a good resource.  Lots of teardown and engineering knowledge.

I am definitely some sort of professor of automobiles.

Excellent use of space. I dig the tire rack. Go to Lowes and drop $20 on a 4'x4' white panelboard to use as a dry erase board for above your toolbox. You can keep notes on it, or just draw some trig equations on there so people think you’re some sort of professor of automobiles.

Hamilton is a tool, but Senna wasn’t?

“Bae always be taking photos of me sleeping”

A bunch of Oppos are looking at hosting the archive off Kinja somewhere. We’ll have to wrangle the archive itself into a different format (WordPress or some other non-Kinja CMS), but we want it up.

Hey Jason, so I asked in that very same Instagram post and the answer I got is that it is a “pisca californiano” (californian style turn signal), not a stock part for that GL.

Brother, you ain’t lived until you’ve seen Escanaba in da moonlight.

The Rivians used on “The Long Way Up” had some shakedown issues for sure including lots of problems with extreme cold, but overall they worked. Pretty impressive technology.

That doesn’t seem fair.

I hope so. One weird vice I have?

Not in particular. I enjoy the discourse and discussion. Getting people talking about things. Its what I always tried to do on Oppo. Thats why I go through and literally read every comment and see if I can respond to it.

Yessir it does. Thats one of the reasons Ive always been big into cars. Grew up in one of the best car culture areas around.

Thanks. I appreciate it. Im loving it already.

Does the “909" mean you reside in the Inland Empire? Stories on California car culture are welcomed.

I never got an intro post. I just kinda sauntered in one Sunday morning and started blogging like I’d been here for years. Hmmm, now I kinda wish I had one. Oh well, jealousy isn’t a good color on me.

Welcome aboard, pal. You’ll love it here.

All I ask is that you do your part to keep Jalopnik weird.
