LOL. I think I was waffling between “hand painted” and “spray painted” and my brain mushed them together. Although, technically, if we’re going to split semantic hairs, you could also paint with your mouth.

LOL. No doubt. Maybe it was the waning years of MTV’s real cultural clout, but I feel like they did decent job of bringing decent hip-hop to the unwashed masses. I grew up in white-ass Wyoming and kids were wearing Public Enemy t-shirts around the school. I hope some of that stuck with them.

We truly grew up in the Golden Age. The crazy thing about that PRG album is how good it is from stem to stern. “Women” is basically a perfect first cut.
