“The last original program we will produce.”
This is Marchman, right?
Throwing the intern to the wolves early, I see.
I’m curious about that heater. Does it run on fuel from the tank, or propane?
Some of my happiest days were sitting in a sweltering hawker center on Albert Rd. in Singapore, just me, a couple of Carlsbergs, and a huge plate of chicken rice.
I also think the “bad bottle” issue has declined dramatically over the last 20 years or so as wine production has gotten so much more modernized and industrialized - and therefore, more consistent.
YAAAAAASSSSSSS. I have been waiting very patiently for the Haisley WC previews. Let them wash over me. Even the hopelessly shitty teams.
This is the best fucking thing.
Ok, that all definitely makes a lot of sense. I just get the feeling that as this project goes forward with 25 more cars (and with the $1.3million price tag) this “F-40 engine” rhetoric is purely that - rhetoric. Lee’s one-off motor may have been an ex-F-40 lump, but the future ones clearly won’t be. It’s a nice way…
Dude, nothing matters anymore. That’s the point. We’re all doomed.
Eh, I’m guessing the specific engine is not actually from an F-40, but rather one from the other V8s Ferrari was producing at the time that shared the same block with the F-40.
I agree, but VW would be laughing all the way to the bank if they sold this thing in the US.
Also - regarding the lack of USB plugs. USB standards are constantly evolving, but 12V “cigarette” sockets have stayed the same since, well, since there were cigarette lighters, and they don’t show any sign of going away anytime soon.
Gawds.
This Scout is coming along, man.
I came back to this comment from Alanis’ article from yesterday (which, I agree with you, was complete and utter crap). To be totally fair, Jalopnik has covered the TT more in depth in the past, with possibly the only worthwhile thing Rafael Orlove has ever penned for this website:
What we’re seeing here is all of humanity.
