Buck up, Gwen. Maybe your kid will be like both of mine, who said they NEEDED glasses, got a “yeah, sure” from the mall optometrist, and whose mom agreed to get the coolest style of the moment. Fast forward three months, and a miraculous cure happened - glasses are now in the Drawer of Expensive Lessons.

I thought this part of the interview was even worse...

So what if she does. A vindictive mother would still only get, what, maybe 50%.

“It would be a good feeling to just live a normal life for a second.”

Fun Fact: All of her personas suck.

“To milk an almond” killed me.

but he’s spent a lot of time thinking about the fuckability of blue people!

I can acknowledge the point, buried somewhere in there, that it must be very irritating to have created great female characters like Ripley and (to some extent) Sarah Connor, and have everyone “Finally!”-ing Wonder Woman.

It’s kind of amazing he didn’t catch himself mansplaining after the forth or fifth word.

Yes, James Cameron, shut up.

A woman lost her life, but my horrible mind can only think of this:

and, sadly, we may never know the truth of what happened since she cannot tell us what happened. we only have his story.

Or he’s a serial killer. Police just reopened an investigation into the killing of a female tourist who was also dismembered and dumped in the same body of water a few years back. Eerie similiarities there.

If he didn’t murder her, he put a lot of time and effort into making it look like he did, so charging him with murder is only being respectful of what are clearly his wishes.

It’s just mindboggling that he would even attempt an excuse like that and that the officials didn’t arrest him on suspicion right then.

I want to hear his excuse for “burying” her at sea. Why the urgency if nothing illegal happened? There’s nothing dangerous about a dead body. Unless the deceased had Ebola, there’d be no risk to returning to shore and calling the authorities.

When you’re telling the truth, your story never changes.

The thing about legit ‘accidents’ is that you don’t bother to commit another crime with the cover up.
