I saw the car in NYC last week at a private showing, the air intake is indeed below the beltline, there’s essentially a four inch gap in the door you cant see. Like a double walled door. Car is stunning in person with no camo.

At least the intake is located directly over the exhaust manifold...love them high intake air temps...great for detonation and detuning...

In addition to the exhaust, looking at how the rear decklid is cutout so the wing doesn’t need to be removed to remove the decklid and its quick connect fasteners, I would assume this is just a P14 powertrain mule.
