If you’re a concealed carry license holder in Florida, it’s illegal to draw your weapon and show it to someone. It’s called brandishing. They can and should charge him with that.

Yep. Michael, don’t think for a minute you aren’t making a difference. I know you write to show and expose. But it does resonate. It has opened my eyes. Glad to be alienated and left out. Not going to quietly think it’s enough to sit and say nothing any longer.

I feel like a broken record, because I so often say this on your articles, but this is brilliant. And it is shattering, and I wish that everyone would read it.

What? Most Gen Xers I know have Boomers as parents.

The one prior was called the “Silent Generation”. They were mostly the parents of Gen-X. The one prior was the “Greatest Generation”, based on fighting in WWII. You can look them up, there’s a long list on en.wp...

Yep. I’m bragging my wife is a whole 3 years younger then me :)

I just want to be a person in their 30s.

Or the youngest Boomer president. Boomers are usually defined as 45-65

Yeah I remember when we were the laziest generation ever. I think they just dig up old think pieces on generations and update the generation’s name and throw in hashtags.

Eh. It’s a way to categorize societal trends. Nobody has the time, energy, or really even ability to individually assess the 80 million people (or whatever) who make up your generation.

Addendum: If we have to choose between Millennials vs Boomers, let’s just say it wasn’t the Millennials who left us a giant mess when it was our turn to run the world.

Most of the Gen Xers I know actually look favorably on Millennials. We remember what it’s like when your generation is unfairly maligned, since we were supposedly the “slacker generation.”

Gen Y was just the lazy placeholder name for Millenials. It’s the same group.

I was born in ‘83 and I agree with PEW here. Millennial indicates that we came of age during the change of millennia, it’s more explanatory at a glance than ‘Gen Y’. What defines our generation socially is really internet access from a young age (though, unlike Gen Z, we’re not “online natives”) and that makes sense

For those that don’t know. What JaVale just did to Shaq was like the equivalent of the US Army dropping Agent Orange on Vietnam. There ain’t no coming back from this.

I don’t know man, that’s a pretty literate reference. I think JaVale wins that round handily.
