That’s not a visor.  :-P

Came here to say this.  I laughed.  These are the times when knowing a little bit of another language is priceless.

That reminds me of a funny cycling story. A friend and I were riding on a multiuse path. A large path with lanes for both bicycles and pedestrians. We approached a woman and her child and rang our bells to let them know we were coming because the child was in the bike lane. The woman pulled the child back over into

One of these days Nobel is going to do an original, attractive, professionally-designed sports car without some kind of strange surfacing or details. Today is not that day.

It is a sad fact of life that a small minority of people ruin a lot of stuff for the rest of us.

I feel like if the flight crew were authorized to shove these people out the door, in flight, the problem would clear up fairly quickly...

I almost always drove hatchbacks. I’ve owned a Mazda Protege 5 in the past. A small, sporty, relatively inexpensive wagon (with a manual) is what I would buy all day long for a daily driver. But consumers have shifted to utilities for their transportation needs. Even sedans aren’t faring well. Everyone wants to be

I think this and other, related problems got solved in a similar way long ago...

What I want to say to believer’s of dogmatic religions: “Fuck you and your make-believe deities and fairy tale books of rules and stories. Your organization is responsible for millions of deaths, countless cases of unethical and abusive behavior and the brainwashing of millions of children.”

What I actually say: “Hi,

Duggan can fuck off. So many interesting and beautiful old buildings going to waste in the city. History gone and useful buildings bulldozed.

Neat idea but the interior decor doesn’t really match the wrapper it’s put in.

Currently I use CarPlay for music and navigation in my car. I chose not to allow the car to connect to my phone through Bluetooth and suck in all my contacts and other info. Why would I do that when it’s already on the phone and works just fine through the CarPlay interface? It’s unclear at the moment whether a Google-

I have owned zero cars since I started working at Jalopnik. Probably because I have not started working at Jalopnik.
