Dodge Charger/Challenger drivers are the same across the whole country. I’m feeling like Detroit is particularly bad since Dodge/FCA/Stellantis has their HQ near here and domestic cars are purchased at a much higher rate here than most other markets. Even the V6 drivers think they have a Hellcat V8 under the hood...

Yes, but at some point the business case for supporting those old cars will no longer make sense. It might be that a smaller business will continue making gaskets and rebuild kits for the more popular carbs for a while longer but the end will come eventually. That may still be a few decades away or it may be much

I’m aware. That was a more obvious move on their part. Moving to electric hot-rodding this early is a lot less obvious but I feel like it’s a smart move.

Felony is an appropriate name for all dealers...

Last year was not as bad as this year... but I definitely didn’t expect to get any incentives.  Call me pleasantly surprised. The whole deal was pleasantly surprising,  I couldn’t find any of the cars I wanted. (Civic Si, Veloster R-Spec, WRX, etc) and was worried I’d have to buy something dumb just to have

It’s got the same (Or similar) IRS that the 2019 Veloster got. I had an R-Spec Veloster (2019) before the Kia. Loved it. The Kia is longer and heavier. The Veloster was a riot to toss into corners. The rear would come out just a bit and then you catch it with a bunch of throttle. The Kia’s not quite as good in the

It’s amazing that anyone still does much with carburetors any more when EFI has been a staple for three decades.

R U serious?

I bought a 2021 Forte GT with a manual a year ago with $1900 of incentives thrown at it. So, out the door before taxes was a little more than $22K. A quick peek on AutoTrader for comparable cars to mine with similar mileage and they all want $25K+!!!  Crazy.  I would sell it right now if I could find something

I bought a 2021 Forte GT with a manual a year ago with $1900 of incentives thrown at it.  So, out the door before taxes was a little more than $22K.  At that price, it’s definitely a huge bargain if you want something fun to drive.

You know the world is changing when a company who’s name is synonymous with aftermarket carburetors and other high performance ICE products assembles an electric car festival.

Y?

Porsche? Though I’m not into it enough to know if their IMSA team is factory run? Factory funded? Privateers with some factory support?

Toyota Celicas from the 70's and 80's were “Liftbacks”.  Honda’s are hatchbacks.  So say we all!!

Agreed on both counts.  The ILX would have been on my list a few years ago had it come with a manual.  This Integra is a year too late.  Unless something big happens to change my mind, I won’t be changing my daily driver for at least 5 years.

The iconic Integra were the two-door coupes. The RSX would have been a fine Integra if they had chosen to name it that. The four-doors were afterthoughts. They probably only existed to make the business case to build the two-door. Honda should bring back the Civic Coupe and a two-door Integra - the sharing of platform

When every team has an unlimited budget and a crystal ball...

Civic Si HATCH.

Fixed.

No one forgets that Elon’s alive and still a giant dick.

I would totally believe Buffleford-Shanksman.
