Define “fun activities”.
1978 Lancia Beta Coupe. Owned it in 2005.
I would have a 4 point harness regardless. Lighting stuff I would want done in a way that was minimally noticeable and removable.
Definitely supercharged. 250-275 horsepower in this thing would be just right. And by “just right” I mean kind of insane. :-)
Tempting... but only if it can be made street legal.
They’re on a polished concrete surface. That makes the handbrake slide infinitely easier. Still not easy in terms of lining things up accurately - but a lot easier to get the car to slide than regular concrete or asphalt.
I feel like the Senna/Piquet battle is a good justification for limiting F1 technology to no later than the mid-80's.
I like big Volvos and I cannot lie...
I like the general vibe of the Euro Box but the front end revision is pretty amateurish. Simple doesn’t have to mean poorly executed.
I see motorists breezing through stop signs and racing through lights ALL the time. There are a lot more of them then there are cyclists yet it’s somehow always the cyclists fault or responsibility to be safe? Feels like victim blaming to me.
Am I the only one thinking even a 454 cubic inch V8 isn’t nearly enough power/torque for a monstrosity like this?
It’s not that bicyclists don’t make bad choices, it’s that motorists are in two-ton vehicles that can kill unprotected pedestrians and cyclists very easily. The reverse is not true.
A significant decrease in a year where there were a lot more cyclists out there (And the quality of the newbies riding skills left a lot to be desired.) makes me think there should be more research done to understand why. Likely because there were less motorists for a significant fraction of the riding season.
That front 3/4 view looks super nifty. I’m very interested to see the details of how that separate-looking but not quite separate front fender works out. The taillight workout and overall rear end design is simple yet attractive. Definitely shows some street car influence that a regular prototype wouldn’t have.
This caper was (air)foiled.
And you may say to yourself... This is not my beautiful winglet!!
Kids are grown and I’m single. I need a daily driver that can double as a track car if there’s only going to be one. If I’m being practical I’d do something like this:
Been doing this for many, many years. When I went through drivers school we had this crotchety old guy who insisted that every stop should end with a *kachunk* so you knew you had come to a full and complete stop. It was annoying, to say the least. The opposite of smooth. I hated the idea so much I started actively…
Put more lighting on your bike than the bare minimum. I use both a 600 lumen headlight and a 350 in flashing mode. The 600 is so I can see well, the 350 is to help other people see me. A flashing light does a much better job of catching people’s eyes than a stationary one. I have a 150 lumen flashing taillamp. It’s…
