I would expect the electric motor on this to power the front wheels.

While I wouldn’t mind having the extra horsepower and LSD from the Veloster N, I have to say that the R-Spec feels like the performance bargain of the century. I paid $21K for it, which is way under sticker. It does nothing badly. Performance and handling are great. I spent 17 hours in the drivers seat a couple weeks…
It’s a shit show and every day for the past week we’re finding out a something new that proves that.
GAS IS SO CHEAP!!!
Why are they cutting up Triumph TR6 hoods for this?
My next car will be a street-able track toy. I have a number of possibilities in mind but they all need to either come with 350hp-400hp or have that be a fairly easy to obtain target with minimum fuss. Unless I get something like a Caterham, in which case 250hp is fine. :-) I’m quite pleased with my 2019 Veloster…
Bah humbug!
I expect this to be a $40K-$50K car and I’m ok with that. It needs to be a significant step up from the Veloster N. This is supposed to be their sporty flagship.
The “rear seat” is just weight and cost I don’t want. I’m fine with it being either a mid-engined hatchback thing or a proper mid-engined sports car thing.
400hp sounds good. Automatic with paddles or anything that is not a proper manual gearbox does not interest me. A proper manual gearbox with paddles is a maybe but I doubt that would happen with a hybrid. :-/
Not sure I would describe it as howling. Just not quite normal. It sounds fine now. I’ll use it till it blows up. :-)
Fuck Zoom. They’ve been doing shady stuff since day one, including some particularly nasty stuff on the Mac platform last year. It’s all coming to a head now as it becomes exponentially more popular due to the coronavirus...
This morning my canister vacuum was sounding funny so I took it apart and blew out all the dust from the insides, including the motor. Is that relevant to this discussion?
Maybe I should have posted “Good Time Girl” today?
True. Then again, people have always been annoying critics. They just have a waaaay bigger megaphone now.... :-/
👋🏻
Thanks, though I’m pretty sure there are people who have not been impressed with my parenting style. :D
Aye, she is all the cool. :D
Not sure. I will have to consult with her on that... From the gut I would say no. The only “big” game system we ever had was Wii and Wii U, plus various handheld systems since roughly 2005ish.
I don’t know about Windows but if you installed the software on a Mac last year it had a “feature” that installed some code to circumvent system security to access the computer’s camera. That code could not be uninstalled by normal processes and required a special tool from Apple to get rid of. That bit of code also ha…
