You could also just buy pipe insulation from the get go. It’s cheap.

not really. there was that whole Delorean thing in the early 80's.
My events are generally either cyclocross or criterium style races on a short, closed course. The women’s fields will have the course to themselves and will not be the last race of the day.
If I do an open road race I’ll start racers off in waves with 5-10 minutes in between fields with the fastest field going first…
Some cyclists are working on changing this. I promote a couple amateur races a year. At my events women get an equal prize list and race the same distance as the men. Please consider looking for events like that in your area and coming out to them.
The only thing worth getting at Carvel’s is an ice cream cake you can break all your teeth on.
Like I said, most of the good places are closed in the winter.
While I eat ice cream year round I don’t eat soft serve in the winter. Most of the good places to get a soft-serve cone (ie. not a fast food joint) are closed in the winter.
When I was an undergrad I saw a kid get caught taking an econ final for someone else. We were taking the test in this giant auditorium and had to show ID to turn in the exam. The proctor looks at the ID, looks at the kid, and goes “this isn’t you.”
At that point the kid bolted across the auditorium towards a side door.…
the answer to that question is boston superfan Bill Simmons.
EPO boosts your VO2 max by ~10% and your time to exhaustion by as much as 40%. That won’t cause a 1 to 1 reduction in race times but it would make a second tier runner into the best in the world.
No, I’m saying the best woman doped and the rest weren’t tested rigorously.
and yes, when there’s a large population of athletes that are far outperforming (5% reduction in race times) what was achievable by top athletes not that long ago it means doping is rampant. other endurance sports see radical jumps in…
there shouldn’t be a large population of athletes all running times that would have been world records prior to the discovery of oxygen vector doping. the exceptional should be exceptional, not common.
Also, there’s this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rita_Jept…
Honestly, you sound like an American cycling fan prior to Armstrong getting nailed by WADA. “They just train harder than everyone else.” or “Armstrong is just a supreme talent.”
EPO is capable of turning a donkey into a race horse. EPO causes a 10% improvement in VO2max. That would allow for a really good but not great…

Gel saddles are only comfortable for very short rides. You end up sinking into the padding and put more pressure on sensitive parts. You’ll get a lot of chaffing this way.
The reason high end road bike saddles are firm and shaped the way they are is pure comfort. The idea is to find a saddle with the right width such…
The only advantage a center-lock design offers is a slightly faster wheel change. As a whole the design is less safe. They also tend to be heavier and with increased compliance.
but the issues Tesla is having with their cars largely aren’t the novel and new technologies. the drivetrain is fine-ish (minus the early model s’s). they’re screwing up doors, windows, and seats. the stuff that customers would roast GM, Ford, or VW alive for screwing up.
That’s Greg Van Avermaet. He went all in on a solo attack far from the finish. When he got caught that close to the line he didn’t have any ability left to follow the field sprint so he got the fuck out of the way. He was probably going about 30 mph when he got caught. The field was going 35 and topped out over 40.…
I didn’t play very far into Ocarina of Time on the N64. I loved Twilight Princess. It’s my favorite 3D Zelda.
I did recently pick-up the OoT and Majora’s Mask remakes. neither one has done a very good job of keeping my interests.
1. Since tires are made out of rubber their oscillations are very much damped. Pretty close to overdamped actually.
