Wellllll two recent governors are still in jail for corruption, so maybe not the worst EVER, but I feel you.

Thanks lol. Blame it on Michael’s constantly emailing coupons so I have to buy more yarn and their sale on storage bins, which I now need another of. They know how to keep me hooked. It was also funny looking like a grandma on a business trip, carrying that middle bin stuffed with yarn out of the store like a

OMG I need that cupcake one in my life!

As I’ve said in a couple other threads over time, my parents were the absolute BEST at educating me about money and I can’t thank them enough for that. I grew up with a weird perspective...we lived in a small house, took reasonable vacations (driving to the beach 8-12 hrs away) and had a mix of blue collar and white

No you are wrong with your basic assumptions here, the problem is not the food sellers, it is the airport. The Airport charged exorbitant rents to these stores who in turn need to change $11 for a sandwich. You want a cheaper sandwich, don’t look a the guy selling it to you or the company who owns the store, look at

Winner of Country Album of the Year: A Sailor’s Guide to Earth—Sturgill Simpson. (This would be the album that the former navy man closed with a searing anti-war screed that included 2 f bombs.)

John Dickerson replied by saying somehitng along the lines of “That was committed by a US citizen and a woman who was born in

Why I am marching today (See you soon, NYC!):

I sooo want every child to enjoy reading the way I always have. I would say I learned to read around age 3 or so and have read constantly since then. I am saddened when people say they don’t like to read or only read if they “have” to. I am also totally against people who claim children shouldn’t be taught to read

I know there are far more important concerns right now, but I do hope the cruise lines take all of this into account. They are going to have a lot of passengers who can’t get to the ship on time.

It is a shitshow right now. Folks on the tarmac, authorities trying to get everyone to shelter. I live here and FLL was one of the more pleasant airports to fly into and out of. I suspect that’s about to change for the worse for years to come.

Wow, that’s so tasteful! I might go for something so coordinated if I didn’t have kids. With them it’s a mishmash of ornaments with no discerning theme.
