I have to agree. I loved Leonard Nimoy’s work, but his narration during Civ IV lacked the gravatas of William Shepard’s Civ 5 narration. I never understood all of the praise lavished to Mr. Nimoy’s Civ IV narration other than the fact that it was done by the actor who played (or rather is) Mr. Spock.

Which, in my honest opinion, lacked the gravitas from William Sheppard’s voiceovers in Civ 5.
