Now and forever, Supernatural. I have the first 10 seasons ripped from my DVDs and seasons after that from iTunes. Both gyms I go to have the old iPod connecters on their cardio equipment so I load my old iPod Touch with whichever season I’m watching and run while I watch Sam and Dean saving people and hunting things.

Supernatural has established itself as a part of a multiverse. Let’s make it happen.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow has become one of my favorite TV Shows. I love the fact that they just embrace the fact that they’re based on a comic book, and sure, this can happen. They just embrace the sheer joy of having Gorilla Grodd show up, or Atom running around Japan, or trying to convince George Lucas to write Star

Yeah that doesn’t really work for me. Dre’s beats need a much smoother delivery of verses over it. Kendrick’s nervous energy is really better with weird glitchy free jazz beats like Flylo does.

Sir John had to die for dissing Fagin, the ship’s cat

I guess I’m a weirdo, but I liked the OA. It was so strange and interesting to me. I would like to find out what happens after the shooting and so I am glad they got another season.

Thanks for all the recaps, which were well written and well thought out.
I don’t think I’ll ever get over this little interchange which still makes me giggle:

Is this the only review on this site of SCD that you’ve read? Because Andrea’s reviews of other episodes of this show have been critical where deserved. So, seeing that there’s been a range of grades so far, I would think that it’s possible that this review was positive because, well, maybe the episode itself was a

“but it’s worth hearing about since most people who watch the short via Oculus won’t get the pleasure”

Anyone else still enjoy imagining Llamas with Hats is about this Carl?

You left out Swank, Gallery, Chic, Club, High Society and Score. I was a military brat and lived on base during my formative years.

Back in the late 70's/early 80's we would frequently find porno mags left by older kids on the railroad tracks near my house. Nothing like a rain soaked vintage Hustler to get your juices going on the walk back to school.

I know a lot of us have strong feelings in one direction or another about Tarantino, and that’s okay; we’re all allowed to feel how we feel about the guy. I just hope people are gracious about Thurman’s forgiveness of him. She chose to do that and we should respect that, as far as his treatment of her in this instance

Because context matters. How information is delivered can change perception dramatically (think Fox News, or reality TV). Especially since Uma Thurman didn’t write the thing, and her words are going through someone else’s filter.

Well people seemed irrationally angry that Tarantino did those things himself in the film despite the fact that it’s likely he did them because she trusted him and they had a friendship and she’d prefer him than a stranger/crew person do it. I could be wrong of course, but that’s what I took from it. Of course people

You’d have to be totally crazy to assume Tarantino was malicious in having her drive the car or happy that she got hurt. Dangerous, stupid, careless, sure, but the sloppy writing of the original article mixed with the outraged reactions (often from people who already didn’t like the director for one reason or another)

The question is not whether we should condemn people who are interested in child pornography (not all of whom are pedophiles, curiously). We should. It’s bad. The question is whether you think we should condemn the victims of child sexual abuse too. When people who abuse children are prosecuted, the state or federal

Even the worst people are entitled to the best legal and medical support possible.

I’m not defending child pornography and the people who us it. That’s indefensible.

Part of my life is spent defending people against child-pornography charges, and I endorse this comment. One can feel very angry about these crimes (indeed, one likely should), but I assure you that that the people prosecuted for them have gone through some terrible situations to be where they are.
