IDK, I’m pretty sure asking and getting a “yes” would be sufficient in most situations where you didn’t have control over someone’s career. No need to kink-shame.

What? Have you ever seen a single episode of her show? She has always been outspoken. She’s been at every rally for years, she got arrested a few weeks ago at an anti-Kavanaugh rally.  She’s been using her platform for good for literally as long as she’s had a platform

She’s allowed to engage in whatever consensual behavior she wants. The issue her is harassment and abusive behavior. By definition those issues don’t apply to consensual behavior.

Who the fuck are you to tell her who she is and isn’t allowed to let masturbate in front of her?

If she doesn’t care, why should you? Two situations are not the same. One was consensual. The other was not.

The subtext in that second gif speaks volumes.

And none for Gretchen Weiners.

What part of “visiting relatives” is too fucking hard to understand?

That is one of the most insanely stupid comments I’ve seen from a non-grey. You should feel ashamed.

Kushner has none of this sex appeal.

Yes, I get the name change and why, but bear with me. I grew up rurally and in a time when men all had a crusty ass hanky in their jeans pocket. Gross. Then, moving into the city in my 20s, I saw men using tissue, which to my conditioned mind, seemed a little too dainty, but at least wasn’t crusty or showing up in the

Love ‘Deerskin’ and love Little Free Libraries (there are 4 in my neighborhood). Given that, I’m putting the other books you listed on my ‘to read’ list - you seem to have good book-instinct.

Thank you for sharing these. My eldest child just hit adolescence and I’ve been looking for titles to help them navigate consent and abuse issues.

Deerskin is such a rough, good read. I happened to pick it up when I was processing my own trauma and it was so painful and comforting

Club Girth has EVERYTHING.

On the other hand, they’ve also been a godsend for those of us who were adopted/are trying to find their birth families and half-siblings. So like anything, it’s about what you use it for I suppose.

He’s never going to pay, but everyone with a functioning brain cell already knew that, regardless of the outcome of the test.

I mean I’d be angry if my creepy former coworker who was sexually inappropriate brought up the time we worked together as though it was nice and a happy time. In front of an audience where I had to play ball or be called an asshole.

If he was asking her questions about sex, and she jokingly said something like “come see me in ten years”, it doesn’t strike me as creepy so much as just one of those stupid things a person says from time to time.

Ditto. My most withering rejoinder is usually in the vein of, “How can you not see it?!”
