After reading the comments, I have to wonder when we started seeing Hillary Clinton as so fragile that she can’t handle a thoughtful discussion on why she — one of the most accomplished women in the world — started her Twitter bio in a way most men would not. And she answered well, and we all learned something. But

“If only there was a term to describe such a person.”

They are not in any sense beautiful like a rainbow, though.

Congrats, Shania, at this moment a huge mound of 3am cat vomit is telling anyone who’ll listen that he for sure could bang you, but he’s not sure he’s even interested since you’re “no longer a 10.”

I’d survive. :)

Dude, get real —it’s not in our skill set. At all. :)

Black Panther was so close to being a perfect movie, except it had Freeman. It didn’t need him.

49 year old white woman who has never been kicked out of any business anywhere for anything, and that includes pretty much moving into a booth and making a day of it, being drunk and loud, being pretty damned mouthy, and twice walking out of a store with merch I didn’t pay for because I was distracted.

Guess what ... a lot of liberal white women are shitty, but think being liberal absolves them. They are, in point of fact, often just as shitty in white men through the shared blindness of privilege.

“I’m making this joke that I know, at least think, might be problematic. Is anyone going to call me on it? How about now? Okay, whew!”

Firemen (and women)

I can imagine.

I think there was a vibe of his being misunderstood and, therefore, the bad boy who could be healed/fixed by the right Molly Ringwald.

That’s a very mature take on it. I think it had the ending it did because it was wish fulfillment, a fantasy, as opposed to a thoughtful look at what really makes a good relationship.

On days when it feels like we’re regressing, remember this — we used to be okay, even amused, by plot points we now see as awful.
