The Swindles told the network that United is flying Irgo from Naruto, Japan to Denver in a first-class seat along with a human escort and will then deliver him to Wichita.
“Wait, you’re the United States! You’re the one with the ... president.”
“The law is the law.”
I know. I can’t think about it too hard. Just makes me so sad and angry. You’re not alone.
Topical AF.
I think he must be used to hearing how great she is. I’m glad their marriage seems made to last.
LOL, it wouldn’t be the first time I’ve watched old GH episodes on YouTube, I might have even watched that again. I remember really well how Elizabeth was in the shower when Luke came home and they made it really menacing to foreshadow that this would lead to his past being found out. I remember Lucky asking him what…
See, I believed the innocence. The first break in that belief is when I read The First Four Years, which had a more adult tone. It was clear that Laura has doubts about being married to a farmer — and could be a bit cutting about it.

Bert Cooper’s eulogy for Mrs. Blankenship made me think of Laura. How monumentally the world can change in one lifespan.
Is the fact that Ma made pigeon pie evidence for or against her craziness?
I spent way too much time wondering if his stroke at a young age curtailed sexy-times. They only had 2 kids, as I recall, one dying young, none post stroke. But maybe it’s a botched labor thing?
The article is right that you do get so much more subtext as an adult reading the books. And Pa was clearly an asshole. :)
