1.

Thank you. When I worked at an animal shelter, I used to have to wear a shirt with STAFF in big letters on the back — didn’t stop people from asking if I worked there — and got sick of the staff infection jokes. :)

Yeah, even if it were Minnesota — it’s not — she still couldn’t buy alcohol at a grocery store. I’m from Michigan, where you can buy your booze and munchies at 7-11, and it really messed with my head when I moved to Minnesota that you couldn’t get snacks and booze at the same place.

I think the show is just against having expected relationship outcomes on general principle, and asks us to examine if the couples we root for are actually healthy. But, yeah, I hope those crazy kids work it out.

I would assume these guys were banging. :)

I have no patience at this moment for people who are not checking their fact and making sure information is credible. This is life and death now, and anyone muddying the waters is making this even more difficult. Publishing your confirmation biases fucks us all and prolongs the reign of a madman.

“People don’t deserve respect because they are old.”

Well, his takeaway seems to be that it’s sad for women if they’re not hot, so maybe he made it his mission to never leave a woman feeling unfuckable. /s

It’s his stupid pet trick — he got praise and a cookie for trotting this story out a few years ago, and so he’s going to keep going there, not realizing he’s an old dog who needs a new trick.

Ha, I think there are lots of ways men can be considered attractive, lots of categories, and so he had been treated like, for all intents and purposes, a handsome guy. He then found out there are about 1.5 types of women who are widely considered attractive — and he wasn’t it.

3/10

Pretty much every woman has laughed off shit because it felt like the only option at the time. This has worked out really well for sleazy men for a long time while making this issue invisible to many genuine good guys.

I think it’s possible to not know someone you work with has a creepy side, but in this case it seems difficult to believe. Sounds like he was pretty open about it and confident in his power, which makes me doubt his co-workers are shocked. Shocked he finally got punished, sure. Shocked at his behavior, though?

Or remembering to bring lutefisk.

It’s a confusing time to be a liberal women in Minnesota.

“The man can do creepy.”

I remember that, since I started watching the show when I was seven. All the things that used to fly over my head, but I understood that character. There was a line from one of the parents about him being 1 in a million, and he said something about his being more common than they think.
