“The sentence makes no gorram sense.”

Right, there’s misspeaking, and then there’s talking to some hanger-on about how fame and wealth allows you to sexually assault women. And a lot of his stuff he said on multiple occasions, and so I think that rules out not meaning it the way it sounds.

I read this article, about/by a guy who just rethought his support, and I flipped off my monitor. He said monstrous, racist shit and turned out to be a monstrous, racist shit ... and you act like you couldn’t have known that? Whelp, welcome on board, grab a bucket. If Trump were a character on a TV show and movie, within 10 seconds of screen time I’d be sure he was the villain. Everything about him screams that he is the bad guy even before he opens his mouth.

“It’s difficult to imagine thinking it’s a good idea to get a pet just because you see something similar on TV, but these are strange times.”

I’d like to mess with his hair.

Those things are great, but does she use those activities as a shield against criticism?

Gee, who could break that code? Oh, every viewer. :)

Wonder if one of the main players has as much of a claim to the throne as she believes? I suppose it depends on the person, because I’m guessing Little Finger would wonder that. But Sam treated the mention of Rhaegar Targaryen as if it was ancient history when they were still dealing with the fall out of Robert’s

Wow, you’re right. :)

“Simply because I think Jaime is what she holds dear.”

It means enough to wonder if they had, in fact, had a child.

“Though - would Prince Rhaegar’s marital arrangements mean anything to Sam anyway? He doesn’t know anything about R + L = J...”

I would argue it shouldn’t have gone completely over his head. Mostly, sure, but I think the fact that the previous heir to the Targaryen throne had a secret marriage would at least make him, a man from a prominent family and aware enough of current events, to ask who he’d married.
