Hope you can find some help and peace

Like where your head is at. I'm all the way in for that twist.

I'd say a lot has already happened, such as the Bernard reveal, so it'll be a bit different than GoT in that regard. Completely agree with the jaded anticipation as I also got burned after spending so much time with Lost (reminded when I notice how I have seasons 1-5 DVDs and will never complete it).

I don't understand the reviewer's need to have everything spelled out. Maybe this isn't the show for Zack if there is a requirement for an obvious, linear narrative.

The shirt change in Pariah, the darkening hat, the backstory, the killing of the young boy by the river, and that the episode ends with both hatless as they reach a turning point - Don't know that we can call the 2 timelines a theory any longer.

There was an immense amount revealed about the world outside the park yet it feels like this review misses it completely. Guess I need to stop complaining and go elsewhere.

Who knows why Dolores sees what she does? I am more interested in how they keep wildlife out of this massive park.

More evidence they're not on Earth seem to trickle out: extensive terraforming and the use of the word 'descend' regarding the board's arrival.

Send me a link when you start the gofundme for a remote. I'll chip in.

I'd imagine there aren't gigolos so that it's period-authetic for the guests, but I'm pretty sure you can get down with whichever bot you want.

I think the gun is the suggestion from the Arnold-code and that the mutton chop bot has raped her before.

Yeah I'm on board with her having taken the gun. The guy even reaches to his side when she pulls it out. I thought the gun looked like the one she imagined earlier, which would make sense if this bad-bot has raped her before. I think you're onto something with the "arnold voice" creating the suggestion.

A - replaceable parts. We've seen an eye being made, suggesting Hosts are made by adding pieces to a body mold. For the show to work, we need to believe that they've built the Hosts to show some surface damage but have some near-indestructible core.

If you're asking "why" as in what is the motivation for having him be a robot, I think it's so Ford doesn't directly bring about sentience but gives Bernard the gifts to cause the spark.

Yes, exactly that. His experience in ep. 3 seemed to mirror what we've seen the hosts go through.

He wouldn't need help finding the maze if he were Arnold

Dolores exists for robot Bernard to fulfill the destiny Ford programmed.

Wow that this reviewer is missing the plot that Bernard is either a robot, or reduced to one by Ford, is utterly amazing. Seemed obvious that these layers had been peeled.

Doesn't Meg's point fall flat b/c our focus has been primarily on the Garvey's, who were spared on 10/14?

Gotcha, and no I didn't assume what you were getting at, but I had yet to read some of your other, more thoughtful responses. Thanks for the explanation. It does seem that the show can't decide whether to treat the world like only 1 in 50 people is truly affected by the mass vanishing (hence just go on with the dance)
