it’s kind of funny that in America to be a spaz/spazz is like calling somebody a geek, it’s referring to them being too openly ardent about something and therefore uncool. Any part of it that refers to physical movement is incidental, it’s about getting too excited (“cool out you spaz”)...on the other hand in Britain…
