Flagging this for making me look at Woody Allen’s face

Ok, and the point I’m making is that far more men do it than women and they believe exactly the same thing. And it’s horrifying to see one weaponize an entire country’s worth of social media to mock his victim when she comes forward to talk about the years she spent being subjected to manipulation, physical violence

Spousal abuse aside, people were already fed up with Depp this past decade regardless. I heard an audible groan from the audience when Colin Farrell’s character turned into Johnny Depp in the first Fantastic Beasts and that’s a story that I’ve heard from several other people.

And one of those guys is a dame!

Yeah, I’m guessing it’s more ageism, which is a thing. I’m also guessing that by 52, if you haven’t figured out how to write a successful story/screenplay, you’re not going to figure it out. Time has passed you by. It happens to everyone at some point.

great overview, and that her case was “remarkably unremarkable” is what rang true. Her case looks so similar to lots of Domestic Violence relationships.

Huh, it’s almost like the industry might be changing so that white men aren’t automatically granted success.

Nice. Not the data, mind you, that shit is atrocious, but I appreciate the citations.

It’s even harder for older writers. You don’t meet many 52-year-old white males.”

Yes, Woody has a right to tell his story, and no one took that right away. He does not have a right to it being published by a major publisher.

Lots more men do that than women

“I have to wonder if you’ve actually been paying attention to pop culture over the last 40 years.”

To many of us his continued adulation is inexplicable, knowing what we do

Yes clearly being respectful of people with disabilities is worth being sneered at. Did you get lost on your way to the Trump rally?

I always loved how Seinfeld very clearly could barely keep it together throughout the scene.

imho this has the worst writing so far.

Fair. I think Forrest Gump is as reasonable a choice as any, but I wouldn’t have been mad if Shawshank won.

In class he always sat behind Neil.

If you were the star of a movie you might remember that.
