Me too! (I mean, uh, me as well). Her body language hit the right note: hair puffs, eye narrows, and little shrugs. I really like how she got her powers. I didn’t see it coming until right before it happened. (Never read the comic) The film was structured well. They need more of the weird space music on the soundtrack

Three words: Pizzagate. Come on, do I have to draw you a map? *vapes, cries*

Che clearly enjoys doing it and I say more power to him. People love serving up unsolicited criticism so what’s wrong with receiving some in return? (That’s a rhetorical question, so don’t feel compelled to reply to me.)

The Super Bowl is in 11 days. Planters isn’t fucking around with its brand transition.

I enjoyed season one but “sophisticated” is pushing it lol

That's referred to as a Duoplass.

You know what happen when you give Lynch a big budget and a movie he has no interest in making?  You get Dune.

There’s no controversy here, just the creator talking about the process. People like you are just as guilty of elevating and escalating non-issues by crying about how everyone’s making a big deal out of nothing even if it’s not that big of a deal.

There are fewer roles for women/nb/people of color in general so to see white men/women as the default makes it worse. And yes, women tend to voice prepubescent boys - for fairly

Well the Apu thing started with a comedian pointing out how the character’s voice had been used endlessly to mock people like him - the fact that the voice was also played by a white person exacerbated the issue.

This is a very bad take. First, a character can be stereotypical in one area and non-stereotypical in another area. They don’t just cancel each other out. (If a Quik-E-Mart hot dog was made of the finest ingredients and cooked in a pristine microwave, but then it’s dropped on a filthy floor, you’re still not going to

I look forward to your defense of Mickey Rooney’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s character as a successful real estate investor merely doing his best to protect his residents from a problem tenant.

Or you know, just get an Indian actor to play an Indian character instead of a white dude doing an impression.

But the first thing people think about with Apu is the over-the-top voice.

*Doesn’t need to check notes*

I’ve got somethin’ to say...

Mommy, can I go out and see this film tonight?
