There was a time when I daydreamed about writing for the AV Club. 

When I was a kid, I only knew Carol Danvers as the person that Rogue absorbed most of, giving her super strength and flight powers, but also the occasional personality crisis.

But “we” (not us, but the general movie-going public) haven’t cared about ANY of these characters until the movies came out. The original MCU Avengers were relatively unknown to the average moviegoer, until a combination of high-quality filmmaking and lethally good marketing put asses in seats.

Haven’t the reviews been pretty positive? Meaning, this is more of a marketing failure, or a failure of overall studio strategy, rather than a lack of quality in the film? 

Man, it’s a bit of a lose-lose, yeah? If you release the evidence, it may prejudice the jury pool, but wouldn’t news that there was evidence so damning that they sealed it lest it taint the jury pool also likely to prejudice the jury pool?

What is it about the tone of this article that actually makes me feel sympathy for that piece of shit?
