This is literally the worst way to consume TV and movies. All the expense of purchasing the media, but none of the ownership. 

It would be really unusual for a band of the Foo’s, tenure, stature and schedule to maintain consistent membership, and yet . . . half the band (including Grohl) are the same dudes I saw open for Mike Watt nearly 30 years ago. Dave’s the main songwriter and the face of the band, but they are a band.

I’d argue that the pent-up demand and artificial sense of sanctity around long-copyrighted works is what generates works like this. If Winnie the Pooh had entered the public domain in 1980, as it should have, I imagine it would’ve been a different story.

Yeah, I really liked it. Some of the anachronistic dialog was jarring, but the cast was great, the lore was deep, plus I found out Tony Revolori could act, lots of cool stuff!

It’s honestly been helpful for me. I developed a fairly pernicious Twitter habit over COVID, and was having trouble kicking it. Musk’s general mishandling of the platform, and, specifically, removing protections for trans users from the TOS, finally made the decision to log off much easier.
