It’s SO WEIRD when a baby has their parent’s face. But it’s also an amazing opportunity to do those photos recreating the parent’s baby/child photos with the next generation. I fucking love those!

This sounds like heaven!

Good for you. The first time I traveled by myself it was by necessity and I was bummed. But I loved it!!! Now I figure it is better to go cool places by myself than to stay home and wish I had someone to go cool places with.

Ugh, I wish I could bring myself to do that. I’ve been longing for somewhere warm to spend a weekend or a week even, but I keep letting hesitations stop me.

I won’t travel unless I’m alone. Solo travel is the shit.

Traveling alone is the best!! Have so much fun! My dad used to always say that he quite enjoyed his own company. 

Except people keep looking at me weird for dining alone but whatever.

That sounds absolutely lovely! I’m so jealous of y’all being able to easily travel from the US to tropical locations! From where I am (western Europe), it’s so expensive and far away.

I miss traveling alone. It used to be my favorite. I did four weeks in the UK and France alone two decades ago and launched a solo traveling obsession. Now I rarely leave the house alone much less travel alone :(

So jealous. I am in New York and was up and out with my excited hellhound at 5:30 AM. Pitch black and snowing. He loved it, we took a very long walk, but he’s descended from wolves and I am not, at least not as far as I can tell.

ugh it really is awful here today. I was gonna play softball with some friends and that got ruined!

Maybe they are thinking you must have an exciting Life to be able to travel alone and enjoy it . A friend’s wife once told me she would never be brave enough to eat alone ----in an admiring voice .

Go you!! I’m going to Italy by myself later this year and the only worry I have is dining alone. Going to finally get a kindle so I have an endless supply of reading with me at all times...
