The E! hosts are really managing to take an important and challenging topic and reduce it to the same level as “who are you wearing” ... sigh. But I’ve been enjoying the actress-bringing-an-activist situation!

Oh man I came late to that series and watched the entire thing in the span of like 3-4 weeks a couple of years ago. It was INSANE.

Nars has a really nice tinted moisturizer — I have weird skin and it made me break out when I tried it, but I loved how light and smooth it was! Clinique stuff never makes me break out, and their Chubby Stick foundation (what I use right now) is pretty light as well.

Ha my dad the scientist turned to me in the theater and was like “dropping?? with WHAT GRAVITY??!”

The pedantic nerd in me was hoping that after all that whooshing in space, that moment was finally going to be a realistic “there is no sound in the vacuum of space” moment, like in 2001. ;)

I finally saw it yesterday and there were so many moments (including that one) where the entire theater reacted together spontaneously — applause, cheering, gasping, etc. It was such a cool communal experience!

the early seasons of the original law and order were actually pretty good on the realism. it all went downhill from there. sigh.

Ugh I had to stop watching that show because it literally made NO SENSE and I just kept screaming at the screen THAT’S NOT HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS.

My work had an ugly sweater contest today! I wore this beauty, but lost out to one that was sports-themed and had blinking lights. (this is not a picture of me.)

I got a decent raise too! Go us!!!
