I’d been feeling down about women in my industry (law) for a while, and then a few weeks ago I went to a women in litigation conference and there were so many awesome women doing so much awesome work, and it really re-energized me!

I loved Cleveland when I was there! I just didn’t understand using margaritaville as a selling point.

Don’t even get me started on the trump supporter uber driver who endeavored to explain that my life would be much better in Cleveland than in NYC because I could have a car and drive in Cleveland. Hmm... maybe I live in Manhattan because I hate driving?

Oh good, now we are a truly civilized and cosmopolitan city. (When I recently visited Cleveland, every stranger who discovered I was visiting from NYC hurried to explain to me how fun the downtown area was, using as proof the fact that a Margaritaville had recently opened.)

Potentially dumb question though - are these criminal statutes? Is there actually a private right of action?

this will sound super weird but I am looking for recommendations for a really good, licensed, smart massage therapist in NYC — some old repetitive stress injuries are flaring up and I think it might help! I totally get if you don’t want to tell me where your business is if it’s doxxy, but do you have any recs? :)

ugh I have some sort of sniffles-and-fatigue plague, but at least I got along with my parents and had some interesting conversations and no one cried! and there were sweet potatoes. so all in all, could have been worse ;)

I honest to god really enjoy that morning show, because it’s much lighter on fluff and more heavy on actual news than the other morning shows. I’m glad Gayle and Norah can balance out these feelings for their coworker and prioritize believing women.
