Actually Swiftkey is the one keyboard I haven't tried, I'll give it a go. I'm not sure how spell check works on my android, I suspect there's a phone home feature in there somewhere because periodically the checker changes behaviour as if something was updated somewhere. For instance my keyboard - the stock CM version

Every credit card account should have two card numbers associated with it. One embossed on the card which can only be used in a physical bricks and mortar store. This would have your photo ID prominently displayed; stores would be responsible for any loss if they allowed a transaction by an impostor who didn't ID with

Well that's good to know but the Bluetooth issue was the prompt I needed to install CM10 and so far I'm glad I did, for Privacy Guard (App Ops) if nothing else.

The thing with My Tracks is you always know it's on - it's in the Notification Bar, so you're reminded to turn it off when not needed. Not so with Location History.

The autocorrect on my N7/N10 is worse than PMS. I can't begin to say what a fail it is, it's not keyboard dependent either so I blame Google.

Don't update to 4.4 if you use Bluetooth audio, there are only two volume positions - full blast and silent. It's broken.

Conclusion:

Says the person judging me, also without meeting me. You can't comment on my comment without co-opting yourself into that which you complain about.

My god yes! The merge at 8A on the NJTP! Fond memories of wasting a good portion of my life there.

My Tracks does a better job without the inaccuracy.

You should try using MyTracks, also from Google which gives you a much more fine-gained view of where you've been with no hit on battery life.

Actually you just raised a good point without realizing it. Your phone needs to know where you are in order to perform the things we expect of it but it doesn't need to know where you were. Google don't really have any need to store location data more than a day.

I'm a big privacy bitch but I don't actually mind Google knowing where I am. I've pretty much stopped all ad activity on my phone with AdAway so my location is known to only those apps that need to know it. And in any case I'd rather people be able to locate me or my phone just in case I'm kidnapped.

Alan, if you go US-50 and over the Bay Bridge and use 301 you avoid all the tolls on I-95 in MD. Then use 295 instead of the turnpike in NJ. You'll save enough to take your girl for dinner.

Na, na, na. "These were..." is acceptable, but not "Here were..." Your scenario is actually saying the downloads were here but implying they're not now.

Yes but there are certain subjects that everyone has an opinion about. I love the driving and tipping posts - I'm a new (two year) driver and worked as a waitress for a time so I can claim holier than thou in these posts. As for grammar I think clear communication is the essential point, as Stephen Fry is saying. As

Grammar, tipping, and driving = page clicks. I guess we can look forward to a driving post sometime soon.

Weekend Lifehacker, every darned week - "Here were the top downloads from this week." should be "Here are..." as they're being introduced to us. Not really bad grammar so much as bad use of the language.
